Please Stay And Gain Experience

After spending last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, Jack Wilshere has had the option to return to the Reebok Stadium and gain more experience.

Arsenal Boss, Arsene Wenger has wished that Jack will stay and fight for a first team place and gain that valuable experience at a top team.

Wenger Said:

“At the moment I want Jack to gain experience, if possible at Arsenal,”

“So I give him a chance now to play so that he can integrate into the first team.”

“But of course we will make that decision later. Ideally it is better that he gains experience with us.”

“I am a bit keen not to create too much hype around the young English players. They need to work hard and we have outstanding English talent.”

Wenger was pleased with the teams display agianst Sturm Graz

“In the first half Sturm Graz played quite well defensively,”

“Altogether it was our second match for the pre-season and I am quite satisfied with the evening.”

“Of course there is a difference [between the Austrian League and the Premier League] but Austria is on a good way and with young players.

“The English scouting system is a lot better and there is a lot more money they can use. There is a difference but Austrian football is on a good way.”

Emirates Cup – Time to Shine

Young star Jack Wilshere is looking forward to the challenge of Emirates Cup with AC Milan, Celtic & Lyon taking part in these years pre-season tournament.

Jack Said: “It can help set the tone for your season,” Wilshere told Arsenal’s club website. “A good performance at the Emirates Cup can help put you in the manager’s mind.”

“It’s a chance to show what you can do against some of the best clubs. It’s good for the younger players too. They can make an impact in front of the manager.”

“As a young player you always want to take your chance and the Emirates Cup is really good for that. It is a good tournament. ”

“It is good for families to come and watch some of the best teams and some of the best players and it always has a really good atmosphere.”

Decision Week

The end of the week will have seen Jack Wilshere have made the biggest decision of the 2010 season.

Jack can either a) Fight for a place in the Arsenal Squad or b) Go on loan to Bolton (or other club) and be a regular starter.

Wilshere is currently been targetted by Bolton (where he spent last season on loan), Newcastle United and West Ham.

With Barcelona chasing Cesc, the actions of whether he’ll stay or leave, could help make Jack’s decision easier or harder depending how you look at it.

Arsenal Beat Barnet in Friendly

Arsenal came to a comprehensive victory against local rivals barnet, winning 4 0.

Jay Simpson scored a brace, whilst Jack Wilshere worked hard in the centre of Midfield, taking over from Cesc Fabregas, who is currently away.

Owen Coyle Has First Option

With rumours spreading like wildfire of Jack Wilshere wanting first team football and Bolton making several enquiries.

It has been announced that Owen Coyle, the Bolton Wanderers manager has the first refusal of Jack Wilshere, who spent last season on loan at Bolton.

Jack, being tipped to have a huge future in the game, will gain more experience if he was to move back on loan.

Fabio Capello teamed up with the FA & Sir Trevor Brooking over the future plans of the England Side, with Jack Wilshere being one of the players who will play a major part of the success of the Nation.

Capello said he will be keeping a close eye on the development of Arsenal duo Jack Wilshere and Keiran Gibbs.

The hard working centre midfielder, will most likely be replacing the current England captain – Steven Gerrard in the squad.

If Jack, can keep working on his game and gain experience at the highest level, then he will become a superb player.
